Far Cry 6 Gameplay Reveal

By Cristhian Gómez

Last week, Ubisoft revealed the first gameplay trailer for Far Cry 6, the newest entry in its popular game series, and it’s looking awesome. The nine-minute trailer shows some of the game’s mechanics like stealth and gun combat.

The new footage also features a lot of deadly and interesting weapons from the game, while also suggesting there could be a crafting system to make them more powerful; and just like in other Far Cry games, there will be plenty of enemies to try these weapons on.

According to Ubisoft, Far Cry 6 will have the biggest map yet, with a lot of interesting locations for the players to explore, while liberating Yara from “El Presidente”, a ruthless dictator played by actor Giancarlo Esposito. While taking down the bad guy and his soldiers, players will also have the chance to pet their animal companions, a crocodile and a dog on a wheelchair.

From this first gameplay trailer, we can see that Yara is going to be a graphically stunning location, where every detail will make you go “WOW”. The combat seems to be chaotic, action packed and bloody, just like we like it. However, if you’re more into stealth, you can also take your enemies by surprise without even shooting a single bullet.

Check the trailer right here.

Embrace the gritty experience of an improvised modern-day guerrilla and take down a Dictator and his son to free Yara.

Far Cry 6 will be available on October 7 2021 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Stadia, Epic Games and Ubisoft Connect.
